I just bought an unopened box brand new unlocked blu m6 phone…had it for 4 days now …installed my activated with service sim from my exsisting phone and set it up on my wifi w/ high speed broadband. It litterally took like 4 hours just to get it setup with my exsisting google account and all the other setup crap to the ready to use home screen….at this point it would take about 20 seconds for it to respond to any touch command or physical button press….i decided to just let it sit there on for the night to do any uploads it might be needing you know causing it to be so slow …well the next morning like 12 hours later ..it still slow like somethings wrong or how a 3 or 4 year old phone thats never been reset acts …..rebooted it …let it set for another day …barely a noticeable improvement. But still like so slow almost unusable. No smh this blu m6 cell phone is a worthless piece of crap ….im taking it back tomarrow and demanding my money back ..

Hi,

Try turning off the phone's internet connection. it may be that the pre-installed apps are trying to update themselves and are slowing the phone.

Go to Start > Settings > Wireless and Networks > more > Mobile Networks > Data Connection. Tap to enter, select off.

Be aware this will stop the phone's internet connection and also prevent you from getting MMS (texts with pictures) messages. SMS (ordinary texts) will still be OK and your phone will still work as a phone.

This method is a good way to control your 'data' download if you have a limited allocation on your plan.

Also if they are enabled, disable the phone's WiFi and Bluetooth features if you don't need them.

Go to Start > Settings > Wireless and Networks > WiFi and Start > Settings > Wireless and Networks >Bluetooth

This is just to see if the performance improves.

hi. its because blu phones are typically budget phones. i had the grand m for a while as a cheap phone between proper decent phones and found that its 512mb ram is way too small. it struggled to run even some of the most common apps like snapchat and instagram not to mention playing any sort of game was not an option.

basically it doesnt have the power to run itself with only 512mb of ram and other blu phones are similar in their lacking ram sizes

hope this helps

Go to “Google Play” “Settings” and change the “Auto-update apps” to “Don’t auto-update apps”.

The phone could have garbage specifications meaning cheap slow components. New doesn’t necessarily mean fast.
