Wireless music streaming device that connects to external speakers; released in 2012. The Connect has an Ethernet port, 2 sets of RCA jacks, a power port, and is Wi-Fi capable.

Does the Sonos Connect need to be directly connected to the device I want to stream?

Options

The Sonos Connect is a completely wireless device when paired with an external amplifier and speakers. The only thing that the Connect needs to be wired to is your home router and the power source you are using. After that the rest of the system is controlled through the Sonos app.
