iPhone 5 5s 5c backlight difference

Hi I'm just wondering gout of curiosity that what the difference is between the whole 5 series iphones? I can't really see any major difference between them and I've been in contact with a supplier that has backlight for all 3. But I can also se that there is i5 only and 5s/5c only backlight!?

Really confused and with the actual lcd being same size and polerizer the same across them all then surely the backlight is the same.

Any input would be great. Cheers

the 5s and 5c are the same. but flex on the 5 backlight is longer.

So technically you can use the 5 on 5c and 5s just with a bit extra flex? And with 5s/5c the flex just won't reach?

ya. the flex can be still made to reach but it makes it awkward when putting the screen back on the phone. if your looking for them they can be got from aliexpress fairly cheap. if you buy in lots it works out very cheap. its where i get my parts from and never had an issue

Yeah that's where I'm looking at got some samples on the way. So do you buy one kind to do them all or buy for each particular model?

i buy one lot for the 5 and another for the 5c and 5s. it makes life a bit easier. are you replacing the backlight because of loca glue?

Yeah because of loca leak (sometimes I manage to get cleaning liquid in too) I have seem some backlight anti leak glue stuff but backlight are cheap enough to just replace
