how much RAM can I instal on a 20" IMAC EMC 2118? I have 1 G now its a 2.16 Ghz duo processor I want to get as much RAM in there as I can

According to Apple your unit can use 3GB of RAM. Some folks report using 4GB but there may be problems with that. To get to the 3GB use one 2GB and one 1GB. Good luck.

My iMac 20" EMC 2118 came with 4Gb RAM brand new straight from Apple. Works great! But have problem with power now though after 3 years.
