Turns on but black screens, reset a few times..

So when i turn the game on the screen is fuzzy or black, after resetting it a thousand times the screen is green, then eventually gets to working, during gameplay the screen cuts in and out, and the game ends up freezing. Immediately after turning it off the next game does the same thing all over again. I opened it up and dusted it out, scrubbed the prongs with a toothbrush etc...still the same prob.

Try using peroxide on the brass contacts inside with the toothbrush, also a eraser from a pencil can clean them but one contact at a time, if that doesn't do it, the main video board may be going from old age
