I lost the iPhone 5s ambient light sensor block.

I was changing out a screen and I forgot to move the iphone 5s ambient light sensor rubber block that holds the sensor in place to the new screen and I can't find anyone online who sells it! Everyone sells the flex cable assembly but not the rubber block that the ambient light sensor sits in. Does anyone know where I can find one, or even if the phone will still work without it!? Thanks in advance

Flex cable comes with ambient light sensor with a black block. The plastic holder thing for it is optional but recommended.

The black rubber block is also optional but recommended.

I'm guessing you have this piece but you need the rubber gasket for the ambient light sensor on the sensor cable. Also the plastic gasket for the proximity sensor.
