Replacing Screen and Digitizer, biometrics?

I'm hoping someone can help me with this.

I purchased an iPad Air 2 from a person locally. It has a broken screen and digitizer. My intent was to fix it this for myself as I've fixed quite a few iPad 2's with the help of ifixit.

My question is this. If I replace the screen and digitizer can I bypass the biometric security if the previous owner has given me the passcode? Or can I reset it for a new owner?

If I can't then there is no point at purchasing the parts and I'll just have to take the loss for buying it in the first place.

Thanks

Answer this question I have this problem too

Well from my point of view..... I would NEVER buy a iPad Air with a Broken LCD

It would cost you around 200-250 to get the screen fixed.

As for the touch. You can reset the touch ID with the Passcode. But you still cant do anything about the Apple ID.
