Hi remove all the metal brackets, switch the phone on and try to find where the heat is coming from. There should be component that is overheating. If you find it you have to replace it and then phone should work fine.

First don't repair liquid damaged phones if you can. They're a nightmare and keep coming back for various issues.

Second, try a new battery. A known good battery of great quality or at least different source from the one you have in there if you already replaced it.

If that doesn't fix it, and you still experience fast battery depletion, heat, and still see this message, then you have a short somewhere. This short may be producing heat and activating this temp warning message.

If you see the message without heat, then one of the heat sensing resistors on the board was damaged from the liquid spill.
