How to check up on the status of the microphone?
Are there any before pictures of where the microphone is located?
I have a feeling that there is prone to dust invasion.

Mine is bad, it Doesn't work. It is located next to usb connector. Inside; under black rubber cover.
BTW; do know where to purchase a replacement microphone?
Anyone?

I found a replacement mic http://www.phonerepairparts.com/htc-evo-... But I dont know how to replace it.

Its most likely not the microphone. There is a rubber canal that leads from a port hole in the phone to the mic. The canal is likely clogged. take a bread tie and burn it down to just the wire and use it to clean the air way good luck. :)
