New screen won't stick to frame

Samsung adhesive usually works flawlessly, but for some reason the pre-applied adhesive on the Alpha screen is terrible and doesn't stick at all. I removed the original adhesive and applied our own which is super strong and works great with everything else - not on the Alpha though! Still loosens in the corners. Not as much, but still a lot. Thinking of using strong liquid glue instead.

I have cleaned the frame thoroughly, so that isn't the problem. Also heated the phone with attached screen and pressed it afterwards over night.

Seems like the surface of the screen itself isn't very prone to sticking.

Any ideas?

Seems like I made a newbie mistake. Didn't check the frame properly, and it's shaped like a banana, which of course puts a lot of pressure on the screen and adhesive. Well, hope this'll help someone else!

I've done this screen once, Used the samsung pre applied frame grey adhesive which was behind the screen. Should be able to stick on easily as this phone screen design doesn't even require much more than that.

You should be able to just use 3m Thermal double sided tape (the black one) on the top and bottom and sides of the display assembly if needed. Otherwise just use the liquid lcd glue which is probably better in some cases.

Yeah, well, the pre applied adhesive works as a charm otherwise with Samsung. No idea why it doesn't work now.

Do you have any links per chance? Can't quite find the specific tape and glue you're referring to. Thanks
