17.3 inch FHD (1920 x 1080) Truelife LED-Backlit Touch display

I have a 17.3 inch FHD (1920 x 1080) Truelife LED-Backlit Touch display with cracked LED screen. Can I use the iOpener or heat gun to separate the cracked LED screen unit from the glass digitizer enclosure or touch screen? I have the replacement LED screen but need to remove the cracked LED screen.
