LCD is only a mish mosh of green and black

I installed digitizer but now the LCD is only a mish mosh of green and black. Did I ruin it removing all the broken glass? I just want to be sure before I order a new LCD. If I ruined the connectors I am afraid my IPAD is kaput.

Answer this question I have this problem too

If you removed the broken glass without touching the LCD (or damaging it) the LCD should still work. When you installed a new digitizer, did you make sure to not ruin the connector by lifting up the clips?

If the LCD has like a crack inside or noticeable physical damage such as green spots on it, then the LCD is no good and has to be reset. Ruined connectors can be fixed by some repair technicians.

Thanks Ben. I think I ruined the digitizer connector by pulling out the cable without flipping up the clips. I then discovered the info on the clips. I opened the clips on the LCD cable. Does it make sense that the LCD doesn't work if the digitizer cable is the one I messed up?

I will need to take it to a repair shop to get the connector soldered. Thanks for your help.
