Why is my iPod Changing tracks when I'm listening to it?

My ipod randomly changes tracks and or pauses when I'm listening to it, even when I have it locked. I tried rebooting it , restoring it and made sure I have the latest software, please help!? .

Does this happen with different headphones? Just trying to rule out an inline remote issues.

Your click-wheel either will need cleaning or replacing, all sorts can build up in there.
