2001 Kia Sportage 4x4: Fuel Pump Fuse location

we have the 2001 Kia sportage 4x4. Replaced the fuel pump, but its seems to not be getting power to it. Where is the fuse location for that? My Husband looked by the door as another site said it was and its not there. is there any other possibilities of the car not running?

Hi there, I am no expert at all. Just browsing the questions. Came across this, thought I'd help by doing some research for yah.

In case you don't have the owners manual anymore, I found one online, for that model of vehicle

http://www.kia.ca/content/ownership/owne...

Scroll all the way down to Page 200 of 303. There you will see the fuse box information.

My guess, there are 2 fuse boxes. 1) Located near the drivers side. "The kick panel"

and 2) under the hood.

Also, the fuel pump fuse is operated by the "Main" fuse located under the hood.

Hope this helps you. Good luck!

Melody D Ham should be #17 in the fuse box under the hood. Also check the fuel pump relay (common failure on that model)
