water on computer-I am an idiot!

I got some water, maybe an ounce, on my keyboard today. I am an idiot when it comes to computers, so I apparently did everything wrong. I dried off keys, blow dried (with warm air) for a few minutes and continued to try and use, despite sticking keys. It sort of worked and I turned off for a couple hours. Then when I turned it back on and proceeded to try and use (yes I am a bit dumb) it got worse, typing totally wrong letters, even when plugged into another keyboard. I backed it up (probably further frying circuits), then just unplugged everything after doing some research. Help...it is too late to salvage? What should I do?

First thing is to remove the battery now. Keep all power off until you are through cleanup. I am going to include a link to another question about spills--just substitute water for coffee. Please use the guides to the right to help you in disassemble your computer. Good luck
