Why will iPhone only recognize backlight and not LCD?

When Trying multiple iPhone 6 screens i have notice the phone will recognize backlight but no LCD (picture). When pressing power button on a known good battery it will not turn on, or show backlight. When plugging into a charger it will just keep buzzing as if you where to put an iPhone on a charger without a screen connected. This makes me think its the LCD Connector or something else to do it with, but LCD FPC looks good under microscope. is there anywhere else on the board i should be looking?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi Mark

I had the samo issue few days ago. I replace the digitizer connector and the LCD stop working just backlight was working. So I replace the digitizer connector again and this time the repair was successful and the LCD was working. I presume you need to inspect the connectors and see if any of them are broken or some component on the logic board is missing. Keep me posted

Hope this help

The phone will Show LCD Every so often if i leave it alone and then come back and try to boot several times It will show, then about a minutes later it will just be backlight again. so that makes me think the FPC connector is okay and its something else giving me the problem. I've checked surrounding areas, and it is spotless. looks like a perfect board. Hard to say what it can be
