iPad mini home button won't work

So around five or so months ago I got my screen replaced because I cracked it, a few weeks ago the home button wouldn't work so I've been using Siri on my headphones. I don't really wanna take it apart or go to apple shop because of the distance.

you prob have to go to apple or take it apart.

cuz all the home button is (built in ) to the touch screen.

new home button means new touch screen

What they said! You will need a new display, the replacement clearly was not a great part.
