Short DIY Nib Stuck In Pen

Howdy lads.

Having finally got my 1.65mm trimmer line in the mail, I tried my hand at making one of those D.I.Y nibs. Problem is, I'm an idiot and cut it too short; the nib is stuck inside of the pen, and the tip is about 2mm inside the pen (can't grab it with tweezers).

Tried using a pin to grab it by the side, but the fit for the nib is too perfect; can't get in past the tip to try and squeeze the nib against the inside of the pen.

Is there some way to fish the nib out, or to dismantle the pen? Intense googling didn't yield any answers. Plenty of guides for the Wacom 4 pens, but not for the Intuos Pen stylus.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Best chance is probably inserting a thin rod that will fit smoothly inside the shaft like a needle or pin add a bit of superglue to the tip to try and attach it to the nib you created wait until the glue dries and pull it out.

Chances of this working are slim but its one of your best shots

I had a similar issue, but in my case, the nib broke and the bottom half got stuck inside the pen.

I ended up using a lighter to heat up the pointy end of a sewing needle and then pin it into the the nib. Waited for the pin to cool and then was able to pull the nib out.

The pin starts to cool off pretty quickly, so it's important to insert it as quickly as possible. Also be super careful to open touch the nip so that you don't risk damaging any hardware inside the pen
