50 hisense 50h5g: replacing cracked lcd screen

Hi, i have hisense 50h5g lcd tv that had a broken screen, I replaced the screen with same modle number but im being told that there two version of this tv i have ver2 and the screen is from a ver1 and shows no display when put in but the old one had picture even with the cracked screen can I change the main / t-con and power board to match the screen if all the plug match up and get a picture because it look like they do. any help would be greatly appreciated .
