soldering inductors and capacitors

Block Image

Hi,I have a damaged J6 battery terminal and FL11,C279 and C23 are missing.I have a new J6 but wondered how to solder the other componenst onto the board and after that which are the soldering points on J6.All of them or only certain ones.I have a photo of the problem but not sure how to add it to question. Also in the picture you can see scratches with the copper showing through, does this matter?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

If you go to @jessabethany you will find her email address there and she is likely the best person here to answer your question. Micro soldering is definitely her thing

@birdbrain not exactly sure what you are asking. The pads as well as the components are outlined in the schematic

As for how to solder it, you will need a proper rework station, a good microscope and steady hands:-) If you have never soldered small stuff like this, your 5S may not be a good place to practice. you should consider having someone else do it for you. Yes those scratches can cause problems if they get shorted out. I usually try and cover those with non-conductive glue/paint.
