Charging port broken by charger

My Galaxy S4 charging port has broke rendering my phone and all into useless. can I fix this?

Technically, yes, you can fix this. I had this problem with my Kindle Fire a while, and I just gave up on it. What you would have to do is open your phone up (you might have to use a screwdriver to unscrew screws), find the charging port, and replace it. There are more detailed tutorials on YouTube. This is the good old fashioned way to do this, and is extremely tedious. This might cost a lot of money if you plan to go to a phone repair shop. However, there IS a much better way.

You could buy one of those fancy chargers that charge directly to your battery, no wires, no hassle. This one might work well: Samsung Wireless Charging Pad with 2A Wall Charger (Black Sapphire). And here's the Walmart website URL. Click here! ) Sure, this might cost $35, but its probably going to be your best bet.
