Spilled soup and it turned on itself

Spilled some soup over my mac (had a keyboard cover)on Sunday, I was sleeping so didn't realize until 6 hours later. I cleaned the mac and let it dry. Made an appointment on Thursday to check my computer but this morning my computer just turned on by itself and the fan was loud. Anyway I shut it down as soon as I found out the computer was on. But I don't know why it turned on by itself.

Sounds like you may have shorted out the keyboard power button.
