No Sound output all, USB or Headphone Jack doesn't work

I have an 80 GB,ipod and I can synce the device with Itunes and load new songs and play them. But there is no sound output at all, not through the head phone jack or if I am docked to a speacker. The screen show the time and progress bar advancing. Any help?

Hi,

sounds like a common issue with the logic board. If the battery drains very fast as well, it´s most likely that the logic board is damaged.
