LCD screen issue - LM270WQ1 SD F1 661-7169 A1419

Hi,

My iMac dropped, one of the edges was bend and the screen was cracked, but it still worked perfectly. So I repaird the edge and bought a new screen on eBay (LM270WQ1 SD F1 661-7169 A1419 )

I installed it and since then I'm having issues as you can see in the video;

Strange, it appears every now and then, not constantly.

Is this just on your desktop image? Have you changed the image? Actually it's pretty neat looking. Does it ever do it on active windows?

No, but it is most visable on the desktop. Like a mist of red pixels.

Yes I've changed the images, on monochrome background it's not visible.

Not on active windows.

Be carefull LM270WQ1 SD F1 it is made for late 2012 imac A1419.

LM270WQ1 SD F2 This is the one for late 2013 imac A1419.

Most of LCD resellers do not care about this différence but (F2) model is compatible with 2012 and 2013 imac models (F1) it is not!

Thnx for that comment. Of course I checked this on the old screen, it was defenetly F1 model. Thank anyway.

Since i'm in need for the same discplay, i'm curious as to where you ordered this display because there seems to be a lot of resellers who sell refurbished for new.
