I have forgotten the password to my Mac PowerBook 190.

I am trying to open my Mac Powerbook 190 which I bought in the 80's. Unfortunately, I have forgotten the password.

Is there any way I can get over this problem.

What if I don't have the system disks is there another way?

Options

Original Mac OS: 7.5.2 Supported Mac OS: 7.5.2-8.1

Boot up from you original system installation disk or retail 7.5.2 to 8.1. Insert the disk and start up holding down the "C" key.

Go to the second page (if I remember correctly), then to the pull down menu to the change password option.
