My screen acts funky by funky I mean static.
From time to time the screen becomes distorted with static to the point it blacks out.
Is this a good question?

Hi,
Does it only occur if you are using the one app or does it occur using others or even when the Pad is on the home screen?
If it is only when using the one app, perhaps re-installing the app or updating it may solve the problem.
Does it happen with the charger connected and on or only when it is on the battery?
If it doesn't happen with the charger connected, it may be a battery problem.
Does it only happen when you are watching videos or with an 'ordinary' (stationary) display as well?
If only when watching videos etc, (also see only one app problem above), it may be a memory problem.
Can you connect your MeMo pad to a TV via the HDMI connection and see if the display stays on the TV when it disappears from the pad?
If it stays on the TV it may be a LCD screen or screen flex cable problem
If all the above appear to point to a LCD screen / screen flex cable problem, here is a link which shows how to dis-assemble your MeMo Pad 10. At 3:49 minutes into the video the lcd flex cable is shown and you may be able to verify that it is securely connected (at least at the systemboard end.
