Hi,

According to Dyson the belt should last the lifetime of the machine. If you are having problems with the brushbar rotating here is an interactive link which shows how to check the brushbar and how to reset the cleaner.

Also note, the DC24 doesn't have a clutch assembly, but rather a separate, smaller motor to drive the brushbar.
