i just replaced my iphone battery. After a few minutes of powering it on. i noticed that the screen gets distorted and dim, and then it shuts off and powers back on again with the battery percentage lower than the previous start up. Anyone know the solution to this problem?

Could be a bad battery. Try replacing it with either a new battery or your older one if it still works to make sure its not just the battery.

the phone has been working so far.it hasnt dropped its percentage or shut down. What could that mean? its been like that for an hour now.
It hasn't dropped it's percentage with the screen on?
If it's actually a new battery(not a crappy one that's actually used) then it might just need to be recalibrated. Basically, try to charge it to 100% then make it die to 0%. Charging back up should remove the issues.
i tried charging it just now and it shuts down. I dont know if the battery is the only issue.
