colour lines bleeding through the screen, phone still works

I have a coloured block of lines running through my android bush phone screen and I can only see one quarter of my phone screen. Does the phone screen need replacing or is there something I can do to fix it ? This has just appeared as I have not dropped it or damaged it in any way

It's possible that the display cable has come loose and just needs to be more solidly connected. If you upload a photo of the screen we can better diagnose the problem!
