Home button not working even after replacement flex and charging port?

Hello,

I have repaired many phones and not come across this b4.

Home button was not working. I replaced the home button flex and did not work so as a result i tried replacing the dock connector and still nothing. Im confused why as these are the only two things unless i am missing something? could it be something on the motherboard?

Thanks any help would be much appreciated!

(when testing the home flex i only attached it to it connection, i didn't take the screen off and put it in its actual position if that makes sense. I only tested it.)

So you didn't put it in its proper place to test it?

It shouldn't. But I'm wondering if you've broken something by testing it out of the area

Okay i see. What could i have broken? I have tried 2 different home flexs and now 3 different charging ports and still not working? Im confused. Thanks for your help

Then it would make me believe that the lighting connector socket on the logic board needs to be replaced

by

Does this require soldering then? Is their anything i can do to fix it thanks
