When I try to program any universal remote with my 24" Sanyo TV it accepts the code auto or manual but will not set in after with the television so you can use it, why is this?

If your TV is a Sanyo and you bought an RCA remote control for it it probably won't work unless the remote is a universal one and you can match it to your Sanyo.

I did buy a universal remote. And this is the second one the first universal remote wasn't even and rca same thing. Finds the code but when it comes time to set the code in won't work.

Yes it did work the TV is a sanyo and the second remote I bought an rca. I will have to check if more information is needed when home from work.
