My computer won't recognized that my camera is plugged into it.

Hello,

I recently got a mac book pro, and although my old PC recognized my olympic stylus camera, my mac book pro does not. It does not pop up on my desktop (like USB drives and CD's do) and is not available under devices either.

I have looked around for solutions but have not found any. Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks

I'm changing the device that this question is about to all cameras, because this problem could be experienced by anyone, as displayed here.

I actually just ran into this same problem. My Windows 7 PC recognizes my camera without any driver software, but my Mac with Snow Leopard does not. I had to download iLife, because you need iPhoto to recognize the camera. If you don't want to pay for iLife, you can always use a Micro SD-to-USB adapter, they're pretty inexpensive.
