My iPod is not charging with my charger only my sisters does

so when I plug my ipod in to the charger it says its charging but its not it just drains the battery but when I plug it in to my sisters charger it is perfectly fine any ideas to help save my charger before I can buy a new one?'

Sorry a bad charger is a bad charger this is something you don't fix or at least Ive never heard of fixing. You've already done the hard part and diagnosed whats wrong with your iPod. You need a new charger.
