My MacBook wont turn on

My macbook pro was working fine until i shut it down from the computer cammand not the botton and plug it into the charger now it wont turn on and the battery is not fully charge but the charger stays green and if i mess with the charger and keep pressing the button it might turn on i thought it was the charger but it didnt make any since to me why the battery wasnt dead and without the charger it wouldnt opperate and turn on and when i say wont turn on the whole intire thing wont no sounds no lights no nothing please help i brung it to a place and they dont know what there doing i need help !!!

If you've had the top

case off you didn't get the ribbon cable from the topcase connected to the logic board properly. The on button works through that connector.

If you haven't had the case off then the switch (button itself) may be damaged.
