sony kdl32bx300 no picture, no backlight, no audio just green power

Hi, I have sony bravia kdl32bx300. No picture, no backlight, no audio, just green power light which blinks once every 30 sec with clicking sound.

I have measured voltage on ps connector and main board connector and they are all ok except BL-ON, no voltage at all. I also noticed when green power light blinks all voltages drop down to zero and then rise again every time. Remote not responding. Is it PS board or main board problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated

aragornkoni608 you did not tell us what voltages you get not did you tell us which points you checked. Your BL-On most likely does not show any voltage since it did not receive any signal. Try the test points first and let us know what you get.

The interesting part here is that your set blinks with the Power LED not the standby LED. The Sony self diagnostic function should blink with the amber standby LED not the green power LED. If the light continues to blink and the TV does not come on or if the TV comes on and then turns off and the process starts over again, unplug the TV for 3 minutes then plug it back in and try again. If that does not work try to reset the unit with the next steps :

Turn on the TV set.

Wait approximately 40 seconds for the TV to completely start up.

On the TV remote control, press and hold the UP ARROW button.

While holding the UP ARROW button, press and release the POWER button on the TV set*.

Release the UP ARROW button.
