Is there some type of repair guide in a book form?

Hey.

Is there some type of book where it says which part goes where and what the component is and does? I know mechanics has one for different types of engines and such. I tried scooping around the Internett for a bit but did not find much..

@botnedal there is not. At least not for the public. Apple may or may not have something, but it's definitely not in the public domain. That is the importance of this (ifixit) website. Here you can probably get most of the information by asking the right question.

Thank you very much! Do you know if there is some way to troubleshoot which component on my phone that is broken/waterdamaged?

by

It's a systematic approach depending on what has failed. Water damage is the hardest to troubleshoot since virtually any part may have failed.

Yeah, but I like it a bit old fashioned. It would have been a nice part of my book collection
