iMac wont enable wireless

I changed the wireless LAN card in my iMac and when I go to the network settings WiFi doesn't appear. When I click the + in network settings window it only says Bluetooth, Ethernet, Firewire, 6 to 4.

I'm lost because I mainly do MS Windows stuff.

Sounds like you installed an non-compatible card.
