Hi,

It does seem as though you have a connection issue in your mp3 player. By 'pressing' it you are probably re-establishing the connection, it seems for long enough until it 'disconnects' again.

You could prove where the problem lies by pressing in various spots around your player until you determine where it most likely is. Lay it flat on a firm surface and use just one finger. If possible try both sides.

Then you will have to open the player and visually inspect the area beneath the 'spot' and see if anything obvious shows, like loose cable connections, dry solder joints or even loose components.

Unfortunately I cannot find any information on how to open your particular player. You might get an idea from going onto You Tube and searching for mp3 player battery replacement or teardown- here is a link which may give you a rough idea on how to do it, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEFg3PA5...

As with everything in electronics, take it slowly, be gentle and always assume there is something preventing you from opening it easily - a hidden screw, a cable going from one half to the other, a welded seam. Do not rush things, you may cause more problems than you had before you started!
