Do the following ONLY IF ALL the following conditions are met:

You are sure that the device does not have Find my iPhone enabled, or you or the owner knows the Apple ID and password.

You have the original Touch ID subsystem (Home button assembly) on the phone and intact.

You are sure that the device was backed up to iCloud or iTunes before, or you don't care about the content on the phone.

Then,

Plug in the cable, turn off the device, press power + home button for 8 seconds, then release the power button but hold the home button until the device is recognised by iTunes.

Hello,

I'm not sure how this could happen to you. Best it to restore iPhone via iTunes. Basicliy if you cant enter passcode somehow, enter it! If u cant, restore it or put new iOS via DFU or Recovery mode.

Hope it helps, Nikola

Hi Nikola,

thank you for your answer. I can't enter passcode on the phone. The only screen is the emergency call, and a message "connect to iTunes". Then when I connect to iTunes I get the message "Enter passcode on iPhone to unlock". Not able to get into to the restore menu.

What is DFU?

by

Why u cant enter passcode? ur touch doesnt work?

DFU mode is Device Firmware Update, its used in case u cant boot properly device or if u need downgrade iOS

by

The phone is already disabled by too many failed passcode attempts at this point, recovery or DFU is the only way out.

iphone passcode unlock. You can remove the passcode by restoring your device from iTunes or Find My iPhone if you've turned it on before. The catch here is that you will lose your data by following the above method, so you should be aware of that.
