Why is the screen black,but sounds are on?

My tab's screen suddenly turned off..

N now I can hear all the sounds like turning the screen on swiping it and stuff,but there is no display at all.

Except a few grey color faint lines.

Why is it so?

it seems like your is broken or damage ....time to change it
