where can i get the service manual for Canon ImageCLASS MF8280CW I don't mind paying for it.

Yes, you are correct it is not the service manual. There are multiple manuals and some are really long, and include troubleshooting and maintenance, but are not the service manual.
I have two canon printers, MF8250CW and MF8580CDW which I can't fix. The first won't print at all. The second won't scan fax or copy.
I fix printers and have always found manuals on HP and Brother etc printers but not Canon. I recommend to all my customers not to buy Canon.
