Could I switch motherboard

Could I transfer a mother board into a iPhone 6 housing and buy all the parts that are available such as Touch ID,etc

No, you cannot transfer any iPhone parts between different models.

No. You need the original Touch ID. Cannot be replaced. You can replace all the other parts though

So technically I could but I just won't be able to use the finger I'd unless i found a way to program my iPhone 5 motherboard?

No you can't however you can get some aftermarket housings that are shaped exactly like an iPhone 6 but a smaller version for the iPhone 5. They're calling it the iPhone 6 mini conversion. I've done a few myself.

Yeah they look pretty sweet. I've done a few refurbishments with them and it has added value to the phone and sold them for more than a usual 5/5S would go for.
