I'm working on a5c in which the top and bottoms microphones are not working....phone does not record audio when recording a video and voice memo does not pick up sound to record.
Replaced the charging dock cable, but still does work
Tried a hard reset, and that didn't work either.
Strange that None of microphones not working. Motherboard issue?
Any suggestions or guidance will be appreciated.

I would lean towards this being an issue with the logic board, but I'd also say you should try replacing the proximity sensor cable (with microphone) just to check if the issue is part-related. If that works, you could reasonably assume that the dock connector is just defective.
