Device didn't turn up.

Hello guys, I'm replacing my logic board with other logic board (pulled out from water damage phone). After I done immerse the logic board into an alcohol, clean and dry, I replace my logic board but my phone didn't turn on. Idk what happen but when I trying to turn on my phone with my previous logic board its turned on. Any1 know what actually happen.

The logic board I buy from E bay and I was inform that the logic board has water damage. If u guys realize that there are 3x3 dot at the bottom back of the logic board, my newly bought logic board has 2 or 3 missing dot.

Options

You can't just dip it into alcohol. If it wasn't cleaned properly and never turned on before, you will have to clean it thoroughly, either with an ultrasonic cleaner(One for PCBs) or a tooth brush.

You also have to remove the shields covering the board if water damage is excessive.

But, what happen if after dipped into alcohol ,the logic board didn't dry enough when I plugged in the battery?

It depends. Did you test the motherboard before cleaning?

Only way to know is to desolder the metal shields.

Why would you use a water damage logic board? Your wasting your time.
