Replaced battery, now my iPhone 3G does not work

I have to replace the new battery for my iPhone 3G (8 gb), after that, it can turn it on, so I plug in to the power wall charger, you will see the Apple logo for 2 - 3 minutes, then the phone shuts off. Does anyone know what's happening? Thanks!

check connector 4 is seated properly also that battery contacts motherboard-screw under do not remove sticker/prongs on battery making contact with motherboard. try putting old battery back in. is the battery you bought from a reliable source?

why did you replace it? could be the original problem hasn't been solved....
