trollin47 what exactly are you referring to by "How do I take down"?

My Apple 2009 iMac won't launch.

This started in September 2015 with first launching to home page then it would shut down. Now I hear the fan and attempt to start sound then shuts down.

I go to push start button and nothing happens.

I would like to know what might be wrong and how to dismantle it properly.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
