2 lens flex cables are broken, can I replace by similar model?

Hello guys,

I have a Sigma 17-50mm 1:2.8 EX HSM, two flex cables are broken and there is no replacement part of the same model available on the market. As I know nothing about the internal circuits, I would like to know if it is possible to use a flex cable from a similar lens model, such as the Sigma 18-50mm or the Tamron 17-50mm.
