Upgrade from 3G to 4 G LTE

when the Xooms were originally sold, they were a 3G device and as 4G LTE came online in the Verizon network, you could send your Xoom in to Motorola to be upgraded to the 4G chipset. Motorola says they dont do that anymore. Does anyone else offer that service?

Your best option at this point would be to find an LTE Xoom that someone is selling for parts and harvest the LTE card from it. The replacement is pretty straightforward and can be found in step 8 of the iFixit Xoom teardown HERE.
