Why are there small dots on the center of my screen?

A couple of weeks ago I noticed that there is a group of small dots directly in the middle of my screen that are very visible on a dark background. I feel like it's a pressure point but it looks like it's an actual part of the screen. I mean that when I try to screen shot it none of the shots show the dots where it should be in a screenshot just where it is normally. There's no physical problem with the screen, it just bugs the crap outta me.

Options

Sounds to me that your LCD pixels are going bad. It doesn't affect the function of the screen but if you wanted that fix you need to replace the LCD.

Total sucks the dot once you noticed it is like a clock inthe middle of the night you have never noticed it until 2 in the morning and the noses of the clock is all you hear,until it time to get up!! and you sure don't need a alarm!,,!The same goes with the blue dot,$@$* it's all I notice or at least it bothers the crappie out of Me!
