What do I need to replace?

So I cracked my screen. It still functions perfectly as if it's not cracked, so I'm wondering what I need to replace.

Although I can see underneath the screen on top of the phone, (near speaker and camera).

I was wondering I could get away with just replacing the glass. Thanks!

All you need is:

-New Glass S5

-front screen adhesive

-LCD adhesive

-LOCA glue

-UV light

-mold for Galaxy s5 LCD

-heat gun

-deck of cards

-IPA (clean loca off of LCD)

If your friend has done glass only repairs before he should be familiar on supplies he would need. Those are some of the basics tools and parts needing.

Glass replacements are very difficult but possible, you will have to use heat and some tools to separate the glass from the display, and for the new glass you will need LOCA glue and uv light to adhere the new piece. Using a display and glass combo will be easier but more expensive!

I have a friend who has done it many times, so difficulty is no issue. Just, does my description sound like I would be able to just replace glass??

as long as their is no damage on the display it should be ok, it may just need to be re adhered to the frame
